Dr Leonardo de Gil Torres
Dr Leonardo de Gil Torres studied Chemical Engineering at the Universidade
Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro at the undergraduate level. He obtained his
MSc in Chemical Engineering in 1986 from the Escola Politécnica da
Universidade de São Paulo. His PhD in Chemical Engineering was awarded
by the University of London (University College) in 1995. Dr Torres is a
Senior Lecturer and joined UFRRJ as a lecturer in 1980. He undertakes research
on modeling and simulation of separation processes and teaching in unit operations
and transport phenomena.
