Dr Hélio Fernandes Machado Júnior
Dr. Hélio Fernandes Machado Júnior studied Chemical Engineering
at the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro at the undergraduate
level. His PhD in Organic Chemistry was awarded by the Universidade Federal
Rural do Rio de Janeiro in 1997. On his research on Heterogeneous Catalysis
he has worked with zeolites Y and ZSM-5 and amorphous aluminophosphates with
high specific area. Dr. Machado Jr. joined UFRRJ as a lecturer in 1990 and
currently he is a Senior Lecturer. He undertakes research on Heterogeneous
Catalysis and teaching in Processes of the Chemical Industries.
