Dr André de Almeida
Dr André de Almeida graduated in Chemical Engineering (1981) at
the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He obtained his MSc in Chemical
Engineering in 1987 from COPPE/UFRJ. His DSc in Chemical Engineering was also
awarded by COPPE/UFRJ in 1997, with part of his research work being developed
at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ont, Canada. Dr de Almeida is a Senior
Lecturer and joined the Department of Chemical Engineering/UFRRJ in 1985.
He undertakes research in Process Modeling, Simulation and Control and teaching
in Process Control and Transport Phenomena.
