Dr Luís Américo Calçada
Dr. Luís Américo Calçada studied Chemical Engineering
at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia at the undergraduate level.
He obtained his M.Sc.(1994) and D.Sc.(1998) in Chemical Engineering
at the Coordenação dos Programas de Pós-Graduação
em Engenharia (COPPE) of Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Dr. Calçada
joined UFRRJ as a lecturer in 1997 and currently he is a Senior Lecturer.
He undertakes research on Drying, and Modeling and Simulation. He teaches,
at the undergraduate level subjects on Unit Operations and Fluid Mechanics.
